Gamers are busily raiding their cupboards and dusting off their retro video games after website Pricecharting released its latest report on price changes in the video game market.

Disgaea 4 Complete+ has increased in worth by almost $200, taking the role-playing game’s new value to $228.

The Space Adventure, released on Sega Mega CD, had the next biggest price increase. The 1994 retro game rose to almost $1,000. It is now worth $938.

The original Playstation 2 console in Aqua Blue came high up on the list, growing in value by $99 to $196.

Other games that were near the top of the list were Rock Band 4 Band-in-a-Box Bundle on PlayStation 4 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Collector’s Edition on PlayStation 4.

They have now jumped to $329 and $387, respectively.

The Nintendo 64, which has seen significant price surges in recent years with several games now retailing for hundreds of dollars, did not see any major changes in the latest report.

The only item that went noticeably up in value was the Pikachu-themed Nintendo 64 console, which rose by $21.27 to a new price tag of $213.50.

For other Nintendo consoles, the NES had only one game – Bigfoot – to see a considerable rise. The game jumped $28.98 to put its new price at $46.14.

The Super Nintendo had The Great Circus Mystery double its worth with a price increase of $42.67, while Castlevania Vampire’s Kiss rose to $203.98.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 was the only game for the Gamecube to grow in value, climbing to $180.54.

For the Game Boy, Jetsons: Robot Panic had a notable $45.05 rise – putting the game’s new price tag at $167.03. Avenging Spirit also surged to $215.80.

The Note and Klonoa Beach Volleyball were the main two games to increase in price for the PS1. The Note rose by $56.60 to $90.36, while Klonoa Beach Volleyball now has a staggering cost of $1105.39.

Finally, Mark Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure Limited Edition for the PS2 rose by $42.04 to $154.41.

There were no significant price changes for any original Xbox or Xbox 360 games.
